My new studio for acting & directing in Berlin
Since 2006, we have been pioneers in the professional training and continuing education of actors and directors in Germany – with foresight, integrity, and innovative spirit. As the initiators of the first camera acting classes and casting workshops in the German-speaking world, we set new standards and established a fresh awareness of practical, on-camera work.
Over more than two decades of continuous development, we have built an internationally recognised teaching philosophy: interdisciplinary, practice-oriented, conceptually profound, and crafted with precision. Whether masterclasses, labs, coaching, or seminar series – our formats are valued across Europe and regularly commissioned by renowned film schools and professional actors’ associations.
Our signature approach is reflected in long-standing collaborations with leading institutions, such as the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (DFFB) – for example, through the innovative series Respect for Actors – Respect for Directors. Programmes such as Energizing the Actor, Berlinale Special, or English for Actors have become groundbreaking formats that have shaped generations of artists.
Beyond our educational offerings, we actively contribute to the artistic discourse: With our company Superbohemians, we unite artistic research, human rights work, performance, theatre, film, and educational innovation – widely awarded and internationally connected. Our masterclasses are an integral part of prestigious European film schools and academies. We are not theorists – we are an active part of the industry.
